Results of 12-29 meeting:
The Board voted to approve the new circumstances (ie: a tentative sale of a
portion to Target & Home Depot, with funding remaining from the CRA for the
developer, CIM). However, the Board members spent a very long time
discussing living wages and how they could force Target and Home Depot to
do that, which might be a deal breaker for the two corporations. For the
moment CIM is happy, and will break off negotiations with LAUSD, which was
apparently offering more money than Target/Home Depot.
